The IT Leadership Forum
The IBM IT leadership has been designed to provide University of Manchester students insights into the production and consumption of cutting edge technologies in an industrial context. It aims to bridge the gap between University teaching of advanced IT systems and it’s practice in industry.
The forum, which comprises a series of industrial guest lectures, is a compulsory element of a number of postgraduate courses in the School of Computer Science and Manchester Business School. The lecture series is also open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students in both Schools.
The Forum is sponsored by IBM, as part of the University of Manchester and IBM strategic partnership.
